A Generous $8,800 Gift from 100 Women Who Care Villa Park
100 Women Who Care is a global philanthropic movement that brings women together to make a powerful impact through collective giving. Each quarter, members nominate and vote on local nonprofits to receive a shared donation that can make a real difference in their community.
This spring, they chose Art Helps Heal. Their decision was inspired in part by a powerful testimonial from our Patient Representative, Rosie Colucci, who shared how Art Helps Heal has supported her healing journey. Our Vice President, Margaret Peterson, read Rosie’s story to the group, highlighting how creative expression can bring comfort, courage, and hope to young hearts facing serious illness.
We are deeply grateful to 100 Women Who Care Villa Park for believing in our mission and investing in creative healing for children and families. This gift will help us:
• Create and deliver more Art Helps Heal kits to young patients
• Support new art therapy–inspired projects and tutorials
• Reach more families who need moments of joy, calm, and connection
From all of us at Art Helps Heal: thank you for standing with us and helping art make a difference.
